Ingredients (All Grain10 gal)

  • 32 lbs German 2-row Pils

    German 2-row Pils

  • 2 lbs German Vienna

    German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 2 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 1 oz Amarillo® - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Amarillo®

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • 1 oz Simcoe® - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Simcoe®

    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 1 oz Warrior® - 16.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Warrior®

    New hop with much potential. Very stable.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Nugget - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Nugget

    This is very bitter and often used in medium to dark ales and lagers. Aroma is quite heavy and herbal.

  • 1 oz Goldings - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Used commercially for several classic American ales. This strain ferments dry, finishes soft, smooth and dean, and is very well balanced.
