  • 20 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 2 oz Fuggle - 4.3 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • 1/4 oz Cascade - 5.7 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 2 oz Cascade - 5.7 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

Notes

Mash with 6 gallons water at 154F for 60 minutes Sparge with 8 gallons water at 170F Collect 11.5 gal.
