This will be my first all grain batch. I've made something very similar using extracts and like it very much. The recipe generator on this site seemed like an easy way to create an all grain version. I'll let you know how it turns out... or you let me know if you brew it before I do!

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 11.68 lbs American 6-row Pale

    American 6-row Pale

    Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

  • 0.58 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 0.62 lbs Golden Naked Oats

    Golden Naked Oats

    Huskless oat crystal malt. Exotic ingredient for subtle nutty difference. This malt lends a sweet berry-nut flavor. Use at a rate of 4-15% of the total grist to deliver a deep golden hue with light caramel flavors as well as a creamy, satin finish.

  • 1.24 lbs Candi Sugar Amber

    Candi Sugar Amber

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • 1.8 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
