  • 1.5 lbs German Wheat Malt Light

    Typical top fermented aroma, produces superb wheat beers.

  • 1.5 lbs Belgian Chocolate Malt

    Adds a nutty flavor, Brown Ales

  • 1.5 lbs American Caramel 20°L

    Provides color, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • 5 lbs Extra Pale; Morgans

  • 5 lbs Premier Gold Liquid

    Used mainly for aroma and flavor in American and German style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant, light, and clean.

  • 1/2 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1/2 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • 1/2 oz Galena - 13.0 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    Galena

    Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

  • 1/2 oz Banner - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    Banner

    Good yield. Developed in 1988. Use largely discontinued due to poor storage.
