The combination of the smoked malt with the rye does tend to bring out the phenolic character of the rauchmalt, but it also makes for an interesting twist on a woefully underrepresented style.

    Provides body. For Oktoberfest, bock, porter, stout, red, amber and brown ales.

  • 1.5 lbs Rye Malt
