Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 1 lbs Belgian Wheat Malt

    Malted wheat for use in Wheat beers.

  • 1 lbs Caramel Wheat Malt

    Caramel Wheat Malt

    For dark ales, hefeweizen, dunkelweizen, wheat bocks and double bocks.

  • 1 lbs Wheat Flaked

    Wheat Flaked

    Belgian White Ale(wit), other specialty beers.

  • 1 lbs Oats Flaked

    Oats Flaked

    Belgian White Ale(wit), other specialty beers.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • White Labs WLP510 Bastogne Belgian Ale Yeast

    White Labs WLP510 Bastogne Belgian Ale Yeast

    A high gravity, Trappist style ale yeast. Produces dry beer with slight acidic finish. More 'clean' fermentation character than WLP500 or WLP530. Not as spicy as WLP530 or WLP550. Excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian ales, dubbels and trippels.

since the grains are mostly cereal, and the hops are mostly tea, the calculations on this website will be very inaccurate. use cereal in the mash tun along with the wheat malts, flaked wheat, and flaked oats. each box is (roughly) a pound. use one box each of the following optimum slim optimum power (w/blueberries) optimum zen (w/ginger) go lean (kashi) go lean crunch (kashi) mighty kids (kashi) rasin bran corn flakes wheaties ---------------------- hops and tea(used as hops) and the oatmeal (used for both flavoring and fermentable sugars) 2 english breakfast tea bags along with the cascade hops for 60 minutes 12 packets of quaker instant maple and brown sugar oatmeal for 30 minutes 2 of your favorite green tea bags for 20 minutes and one irish breakfast tea bag for 3 minutes
