Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 10.43 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 0.73 lbs American Caramel 90°L

    American Caramel 90°L

    Mild caramel,nutty flavor, sweet. adds color(Red Ale)

  • 0.66 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 0.27 lbs Rye Malt

    Rye Malt

    Often used in German Ales and specialty beers

  • 0.70 lbs Malto Dextrin

    Malto Dextrin

    Adds body and mouthfeel. For all extract beers. Does not ferment.

  • 0.25 lbs Oats Raw

    Oats Raw

    Adds body, mouth feel and head retention to the beer Creates chill haze in lighter beers, so is primarily used in dark ones.

  • 0.7 oz Warrior® - 16.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Warrior®

    New hop with much potential. Very stable.

  • 0.50 oz Mt. Hood - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Mt. Hood

    Used mainly for aroma and flavor in American and German style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant, light, and clean.

  • 0.50 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

I was looking for advise on the 50 gallon version, which changed back to a 5 gallon recipe when I clicked to coment. Any way; my first 50 gallon batch. What do I do and how long for each part of the process. joko
