  • .5 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 8 lbs Golden Promise Pale

    Golden Promise Pale

  • 1.75 lbs German Vienna

    Belgian light crystal malt. Used in lighter Abbey or Trappist style ales.

  • 1.1875 lbs Rice Flaked

    Fruitier and more flocculant than 1056, slightly nutty, soft, clean, slightly tart finish.

Notes

Mash-in at 145F. (30 min.) with 2.5 gal. 190F water. 155F. (45 min) with 1 1/2 gal boiling water. Direct heat to 168F. and 1/2 gal. boiling water to mash-out (10 min.). Sparge with 4 gal 168F. First wort hop. 1 gal. added to boil. Ferment at 70 F. Condition at 60 F. Fine with Gelatin.
