    Fully modified and is easily converted.

  • 2 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 3.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 3.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

  • Wyeast 3724 Belgian Saison™

    Wyeast 3724 Belgian Saison™

    Classic farmhouse ale yeast. Spicy and complex aromatics including bubble gum. Very tart and dry on palate with mild fruit. Finishes crisp and mildly acidic.

Notes

Single Infusion Mash - 12 qts @ 155 for 60 Min. Sparge with 14 qts @ 170. Collect 6.5 Gal. Boil for 60 min - add bittering at 60, add aroma @ 5. Higher alpha bittering may be desired. Substitute Styrian Goldings for Bittering Saaz. Note - White Labs Belgian Saison is needed for flavor.
