Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 3.86 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 3.82 lbs Australian Pale Malt

    Australian Pale Malt

    A principal ingredient of cask ales using heritage barleys.

  • 0.30 lbs American Caramel 10°L

    American Caramel 10°L

    This malt is light in color with a sweet caramel flavor. It is a great malt for light lagers and ales.

  • 0.66 lbs White Wheat Malt

    White Wheat Malt

    Weizens. Improves head retention in all beers. Contributes spicy flavor. Protein rest required.

  • 1.37 lbs Corn Grits

    Corn Grits

    Imparts a corn/grain taste. Use in American lagers.

  • 0.7 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.50 oz Czech Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Very mild. 'Noble'.
