Have not brewed it yet and yes I know it is much darker then style guide lines but hey I like a good dark beer, besides it is a winter brew

Ingredients (All Grain6 gal)

  • 12 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2.5 lbs German Light Munich

    German Light Munich

    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

  • 2.5 lbs Belgian Special B

    Belgian Special B

  • 1 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 1.0 oz Challenger - 8.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Challenger

    Popular bittering hop used primarily in British ales and lagers. Mild to moderate aroma, but quite spicy.

  • .5 oz Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • .5 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 10 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • 10 lb peeled/shredded pumpkin - (omitted from calculations)
