Kolsch 1 2005
Kölsch • All Grain • 22 L
This is a great beer to make, the yeast adds a little fruitness but not much. I treat this beer as a lager although its an ale.

White Labs WLP029 German Ale/Kölsch
White Labs WLP029 German Ale/Kölsch
From a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this yeast works great in Kölsch and Alt style beers. Good for light beers like blond and honey. Accentuates hop flavors, similar to WLP001. The slight sulfur produced during fermentation will disappear with age a
Notes
Single infusion mash at 66C. Ferment at 16C for 3 weeks. Rack to secondary for 7 days for rest and lager for 4 weeks at 2C The Carahell ads a little colour. The hops at 40 minutes are first wort hops.
