Vinegar Ferry Vienna Lager

Vinegar Ferry Vienna Lager

Vienna Lager • All Grain • 11 gal

Renaissance Brew

We haven't tried this yet since it's been lagering. For brewers like us that have no patience (typically turning a batch around in 10-12 days including force carbonation time), making a lager proved to be an unfair exercise in waiting. Now, it's been lagered for 3 months & we're ready to release it to the neighborhood & the brewers at the local brewpub... The last thing they tasted of ours was the 200 gallons of Belgian Tripel that's written about in the BeerTools articles, so we've got a tough act to follow...

Better Than We Hoped For

This was really good! Just ran across the recipe while looking for a Mexican Lager recipe to see if anyone's made one yet. We've brewed it 2x with the same results each time: can't keep it on tap...
