It all started one day when someone, whose name I won't mention, forgot to add roasted barley to the oatmeal stout he was making.....This beer evolved from that serendipitous mishap.

Ingredients (All Grain11 gal)

  • 2 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • .4 lbs Roasted Barley

    Roasted Barley

    Sweet, grainy, coffee flavor and a red to deep brown color. For porters and stouts.

  • .5 lbs Peat Smoked Malt

    Peat Smoked Malt

    Imparts a robust smokey flavor and aroma. Use in Scottish ales and Wee Heavies.

  • 0.5 lbs Belgian Special B

  • .25 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    English Chocolate Malt
