An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. Many people have commented favorably on this brew. I always have this beer on tap when family or friends come over. This beer has more malt backbone than Firestone's Double Barrel and is hopped somewhat more aggresively.
