  • 10 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 4 lbs German Smoked

    German Smoked

    Earthy, rich smoke flavor

  • 2 lbs English Brown Malt

    English Brown Malt

    Imparts a dry, biscuit flavor. Used in nut brown ales, porters and some Belgian ales.

  • 1.5 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 1 lbs American Caramel 80°L

    American Caramel 80°L

    Mild caramel,nutty flavor, sweet. adds color(Red Ale)

  • 1 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • .5 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • White Labs WLP025 Southwold Ale Yeast

    White Labs WLP025 Southwold Ale Yeast

    From Suffolk county, England. This yeast produces complex fruit and citrus flavors. Great for British bitters and pale ales. Slight sulfur is produced during fermentation, which will disappear with aging.

Notes

Chocolaty goodness. Quite tasty. I highly recommend using Organic 2-Row. VERY IMPORTANT!!: include 1# chocolate malt - not shown in Rx. Also, .5oz EKG dryhop. This is good! Real OG is 1.055, color 25.5-ish.
