Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 5 lbs Belgian Pale

    Belgian Pale

    Fully modified and is easily converted.

  • 3.5 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • .375 lbs Belgian Biscuit

    Belgian Biscuit

    Warm baked biscuit flavor and aroma. Increases body. Use in Belgian beers.

  • .25 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • .5 oz Nugget - 11.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Nugget

    This is very bitter and often used in medium to dark ales and lagers. Aroma is quite heavy and herbal.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Mittelfrüher - 4.5 AA% whole; boiled 20 min

  • 1 oz Tettnanger - 4.4 AA% whole; boiled 10 min

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.
