Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 18 lbs Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 1.5 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 1 lbs Belgian Biscuit

    Warm baked biscuit flavor and aroma. Increases body. Use in Belgian beers.

  • 2 lbs Belgian Munich

    Belgian Munich

    Used to increase malt aroma and body with slightly more color.

  • 1.5 lbs Candi Sugar Amber

    Candi Sugar Amber

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

Notes

Credit to kingoftheharpies. This is somewhat based on his Rx. I really think I can get the terminal gravity down to 1.025 (15%) with some serious bulk aging at about 60 deg. The high hopping may seem out of style, but with all that munich and alcohol, I think it's needed.
