Murphey's Law IPA
English IPA • All Grain • 5.5 gal
This is actually an all grain version of my naughy monkey IPA. I changed the name on this one because the day I brewed it I had a really bad day.

An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. I checked the SG two days ago-1.030. Today-1.030. I used 'old' yeast. Next time I will use fresher yeast that I know can handle higher alcohol percentages, such as WLP007. Tommorrow I will pitch some WLP007 to see if this will finish out.
Starting to come together- maybe

Yesterday I made a quart starter with WLP007 Dry English. This morning at 7:00 the starter was going full swing. I pitched it into the secondary hoping that this will 'finish out' the beer.
