Ingredients (All Grain, 23 L)

Well modified, good attenuation.

Munich Malt

Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles
- 40 g
Tettnanger - 4.7 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
Tettnanger
Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.
- 10 g
Pride of Ringwood - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Moderate.
- 10 g
Tettnanger - 4.7 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

White Labs WLP802 Czech Budejovice Lager
Pilsner lager yeast from Southern Czech Republic. Produces dry and crisp lagers, with low diacetyl production.
Notes
1st attempt at making an all grain pilsner. Mashed on Saturday 8th May 2004. Fermenting at the moment in my fridge. Trying to keep the temp between 10 and 15C. OG was 1.050.

Could have done with more hop flavour. Have made my pilseners since with all pilsener malt and a decoction mash. Also using only Saaz hops. These beers have been more malty and have had a really nice hop flavour with additions at 20, 15 and 10 minutes @ 3/4g/L
