This is similar to a Konig Pils knockoff I brewed by single infusion mash; this one I will try to step mash in a converted keg.

    Pilsner, Lagerbier, alcohol-reduced Beer, Light Beer, Bock Beer

  • 14 g Northern Brewer - 9.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

    A pilsner yeast from the Weihenstephen. Ferments clean and malty, with rich residual maltiness in full gravity pilsners.

Notes

The bittering hops are lower than usual as I intend to add another 1/2 oz (14g) of Tettnanger as First Wort Hops and these will have a bittering contribution that will put the beer more in the middle of the style range. May increase 60 minute hops for future batches if the bitterness is not enough.
