Ingredients (Extract15 gal)

  • 2 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 18 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 4 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 4 oz Cascade - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 2.5 oz Cascade - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

Notes

You should use between 72 and 108 Jalapenos depending on your taste. Jalapenos are sliced and added for the last 5 minutes of the boil.
