Good German Wheat Beer with spicy overtones from the Weihenstephan yeast. Very easy to consume on a hot day (or any other day)for that matter. Simple and easy to make, can't go wrong.

  • 6.6 lbs Liquid Wheat Extract

    Liquid Wheat Extract

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 4.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen™

    Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen™

    Unique top-fermenting yeast which produces the unique and spicy weizen character, rich with clove, vanilla and banana. Best results are achieved when fermentations are held around 68F.

Notes

Used Briess Bavarian Wheat Extract, Smack yeast 3 days ahead and grow in 1 Pt starter.
