I know this is just past the hop range for an IPA, but it didn't turn out quite as hoppy as I thought it would. It turned out to be an excellent tailgating beer, which I also didn't expect.

  • 1 lbs American Caramel 60°L

  • 7.00 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min
