  • 2.0 lbs American Caramel 80°L

    Mild caramel,nutty flavor, sweet. adds color(Red Ale)

  • .75 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • 2.0 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 12 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1.5 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 1.0 oz Perle - 8.2 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Perle

    Used mainly for its minty bittering and good green hop aromas in all non-pilsener lagersand wheats. Aroma is pleasant and slightly spicy

  • 1.0 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.

Notes

Mashed specialty grains for 60 minutes at 155 F. Batch sparged with 160 F. Prime with 3/4 cup brown sugar, per 5 gallons.
