stuff up comes good !!!!

we were brewing this at the state championships a few weeks ago. just at the time the 5min hop addition was to go in,i got called away to collect a gong (2nd british ale-esb).one of the other guys put the hops in, but from another recipe on the same page and only 50g went in the 130ltr!!!!. We decieded to each put 50g in our 23ltr fermenters (6 by 23ltr)in the secondry.This has turned out that well i will do a second batch to the same stuff up !!!

brewed a 25ltr batch on 3/1/04 and included 80g of cararoma,which added a great richer deep cherry colour to the wort

With last batch i could not get hold of an American ale yeast. so i made up a starter of wyeast london III & californian lager, which has worked well
