My first lager. A little bitter, I would add 1.25- 1.50 oz of hersbruck only and add the styrian goldings at 1 minute.

  • .5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Rice Syrup

    Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.

  • .75 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

  • .75 oz Chinook - 13.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

Notes

Great Flavor! Agressive carbonation with pressure of 20 psi for 48 hrs. Lagered at 43f for 3 weeks. - Slightly too dry, bitter.
