Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.9 lbs Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian light crystal malt. Used in lighter Abbey or Trappist style ales.

  • 0.1 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 6 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1 lbs Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • 1 oz Northern Brewer - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Still going....

It's still bubbling every ~5 seconds in the primary after 7 days. Temp is 68-70�f. The hop aroma has bubbled out of the primary now. Can't wait for it to finaly calm down so I can transfer to the secondary and dry hop it....

Tastes great... very clean. Gravity was 1.012. Dry hop with 1 ounce cascade and let age for ~2 weeks.

It's great. Period. I'll make it again without any changes.
