Skidmark Ale
American Brown Ale • All Grain • 5 gal
1oz EKG @ 0 min. Damn Beertools still trying to force me to go GOLD. Again, I'm just trying to share recipes not generate them with the tools, oh well. Anyways... Decided to call it Skidmark Ale. Originally was shooting for a Brown Ale similar to Long Trail's Hit the Trail Ale so I was going to call it Brown Trail Ale which made me think of underwear skidmarks as brown trails... ;)

Racked to secondary

FG 1.008 Sampled: Nice smooth malty taste followed by nice bitterness but not too overpowering. If I could let it mature longer than another week (I'm outta stock in the kegerator) it would probably be one of my best but I know I'll be drinking it next weekend after 8 days in secondary.
Kegged and forced carbed last nite...

Damn this is a great brew IIDSSM. Nice balance; malt=bitterness just right. And light-bodied too. Finished at 1.006!!! Tastes great, less filling! Boo yah!
