Notes
Steeped biscuit malt in 1/2 gal water at 150 F for 20 minutes. Strained into kettle, sparged with additional 1/2 gal water. Added 1 tsp water crystals at beginning of boil and 1 tsp. Irish moss with 15 min left. Half of orange peel was added with 15 min left, the other half with 3 min left. The honey was orange blossom honey, and 1/2 lb is an approximation...

The last bottle of this was poured in 2007, nearly four years after brewing. It was extraordinarily smooth! The hops were barely noticable as a balancing agent against the malt, honey and orange peel. My wife has dubbed this "the best beer I've ever brewed" even if it is somewhat of a strange brew!
