    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Mittelfrüher - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Fine, 'Noble'.

  • 0.50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    Wyeast 2565 Kolsch

    A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.

just interested if you added the honey to pump up the alchol level- i like the idea- or was it a flavor thing?
