In Flemish it's called a "Duvel", one of the top ten best beers in the world. A strong golden ale that is a wonderful aperitif, goes well with almost any food, and is great as after dinner drink.

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 12 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 1.5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1.25 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 1.0 oz Styrian Goldings - 6.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Styrian Goldings

    Mild, pleasant.

  • 1 oz Czech Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Very mild. 'Noble'.
