This is the batch i have fermenting right now. Expect about a 10 to 15 day fermentation on this potent brew. I can't wait to drink this one!

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.14 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 0.85 lbs British Black Patent

    British Black Patent

    Dry, burnt, chalky character. Use in porters, stouts, brown ales and dark lagers.

  • 0.53 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 3.50 lbs Amber; John Bull

    Amber; John Bull

    For ales and bitters.

  • 3.50 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 0.23 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 1.7 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
