Phil's Pils

Phil's Pils

Bohemian Pilsener • All Grain • 20 L

The "super saaz" used for bittering are grown in New Zealand! Not an exact match to the noble hop but close enough for bittering. Substitute for the real thing if you want a genuinely authentic result. If you want a more authentic taste and are up to a double decoction mash, you can substitute more base malt for the Munich Malt.Don't forget, soft water only. I use rain water but then I don't live in a heavily poluted environment. Don't do it in Pittsburgh!
