Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 1 lbs American Vienna

    American Vienna

Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • .25 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 7.0 lbs Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • 1.0 oz Galena - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Galena

Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

  • 1.0 oz Galena - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Galena

Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

  • White Labs WLP009 Australian Ale

    White Labs WLP009 Australian Ale

Produces a clean, malty beer. Pleasant ester character, can be described as "bready". Can ferment successfully, and clean, at higher temperatures. This yeast combines good flocculation with good attenuation.

Notes

I did not have any Pride of Ringwood hops, so I substituted with Galena.
