A medium to full bodied beer with a distinctive roasty malt flavor. The malts will produce a chocolate or coffee dryness while the hops will balance the flavors without dominating. One of my favorites!

  • 0.15 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 0.27 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • 0.95 lbs British Black Patent

    British Black Patent

    Dry, burnt, chalky character. Use in porters, stouts, brown ales and dark lagers.

  • 0.61 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 7.94 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 0.9 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Northern Brewer

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 0.25 oz Willamette - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • 0.25 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.50 oz Willamette - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy
