    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • .5 oz Cascade - 6.9 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • .5 oz Cascade - 6.9 AA% whole; boiled 75 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • .5 oz Cascade - 6.9 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

Notes

Irish Moss at 20 minutes before end of boil. 90 minutes actual represents FWH with next addition at 75 minutes. 1 minute at end of boil actually is zero heat turned off at last addition. Dry Hop 12 Oz. Cascade in Corny Keg, or in secondary if only bottling.
