Snodog Pale Ale
American Pale Ale • All Grain • 5 gal
Finally getting my mash efficiency up there; 77% instead of my normal ~60%. Think it has to do with lowering my strike temp and working up to 152 instead of jumping in too high and bringing it down to that level.

White Labs WLP001 California Ale
White Labs WLP001 California Ale
This yeast is famous for its clean flavors, balance and ability to be used in almost any style ale. It accentuates the hop flavors and is extremely versatile.
Notes
Similar to my Pale Rider but adding toasted for a bit of complexity and wheat for head retention. Also switching to the Cali yeast as opposed to British I used for Pale Rider. Eased up on the base malt so I'll get a nice session brew for a bachelor party but my mash efficiency increased so it's pretty potent...

Racked into keg @ 1.007, 5.9%ABV Went into secondary @1.014. Very surprised at the secondary attenuation. Tasted it flat and warm, delicious. Citrusy nose with a nice malty followup, lite lite body, strong alcohol. Force carbing for a bachelor party/golf/camping/drinking weekend!
