    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 0.5 lbs American Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

Notes

Single step infusion mash at 152-154 for 60 minutes. Malt extract is a 1.6 kg can of Geordie Sternhof Lager beer kit from New Zealand. Extract is hopped, so only flavor/aroma hops are being added. Total boil is 60 minutes.
