Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8.5 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • .5 lbs American Caramel 40°L

  • 2.5 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

    Helps head retention, imparts creamy smoothness. For porters and stouts.

  • 0.8 oz Perle - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

Notes

Mash all grains together at 140oF for 40 minutes. Raise T to 158 and hold for 20 minutes. Mashout at 170oF for 15 minutes
