  • 3.0 kg Maris Otter Pale

    Maris Otter Pale

    An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. This malt delivers predictable brewhouse performance with modest, yet consistent extracts. Brewers can expect good runoffs with clear wort.

  • .250 kg Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • .250 kg American Caramel 30°L

    American Caramel 30°L

    Provides color, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

Notes

Add the liquid honey with last hop addition. Corriander goes in at 5 min to go. Mash at 155F until conversion. Mash out at 170F. Ferment at 65F.
