Good winter warmer

I made this recipe close to as published. I find it really thick--O.G. was like 1.072 and final is 1.023. I'd probably leave out that half-pound of DME next time. It has a great head and nice malty sweetness. I'm drinking it fairly warm (55^ or so) and it goes perfectly with rich chocolatey desserts. Nice sweetness and bitter roasted notes. Keep the hopping low and let the bitterness come from the dark malts. It will keep me warm this winter!
