brewed almost the exact formula, was incredible after 18 months of aging in the bottle at 60 degrees.

beertools right on!

the predicted starting gravity by beertools was dead on at 1.090. the color was over a bit at 7 SRM. will skip the Munich malt next time and use all Pils.

First taste!

After cracking a taster bottle, found the young beer to be very fruity/floral. carbonation needs more time to build. candi sugar taste is yummy.

second batch....

2004-02-04 1:05pm

second batch brewed 1-27-04. Beer tools overstated gravity, o.g. was 1.080. the Weyerman bavarian pilsner was 15-18 SRM, so color will be more towards a dark Belgian strong ale. Since this is a common problem, I am wondering about the accuracy of my hydrometer.
