White Labs WLP004 Irish Stout
White Labs WLP004 Irish Stout
This is the yeast from one of the oldest stout producing breweries in the world. It produces a slight hint of diacetyl, balanced by a light frui|iness and slight dry crispness. Great for Irish ales, stouts, porters, browns, reds and a very interesting pal
Notes
Used No Sparge technique so this recipe is 121% scaled up from base recipe. To figure base recipe divide the weight in the recipe by 1.21. Brewed New Years day and it's still fermenting. OG of 59, gravity as of today is 10! Named after my grandfather's home town. He would have loved this!
