Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils™
Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils™
Classic pilsner strain from the home of pilsners for a dry, but malty finish. The perfect choice for pilsners and bock beers. Sulfur produced during fermentation dissipates with conditioning.
Notes
I used Durst Pilsner Malt and Laaglander Light DME when I brewed this one. I aslo prepared a yeast starter using Laaglander Light DME three days prior to brew. This is a nice, clean-finishing lager for those warm afternoons on the porch.
