  • 11 lbs English 2-row Munich

    English 2-row Munich

    Used for extra flavour and colour in nitro-keg ales.

  • 1 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • .25 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • 2 lbs Rye Flaked

    Rye Flaked

    Imparts a dry, crisp character. Use in rye beers.

  • 1.5 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 2 oz Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

Malt craziness

Brewed this one. After 17 days it is still extremely malty, will need more mellow time. Did not use honey malt, which is good because it is plently sweet. Could use more bitterring.
