    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • .5 lbs American Vienna

    American Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 1 lbs Dry Light; Muntons

    Dry Light; Muntons

    Used as the base for a wide variety of styles of beers, including lager, pale ales, bitters, and export bitters. Contains no colored malts.

  • .5 lbs Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .5 oz Cluster - 7.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Wyeast 1338 European Ale™

    From Wissenschaftliche in Munich. Full-bodied complex strain finishing very malty. Produces a dense, rocky head during fermentation.

Notes

Mash grains at 150 for 90 minutes. Add extracts to boil for last 10 minutes. Pitch starter made from combination of San Francisco Lager and Europen Ale yeasts. Ferment between 58-62 degrees. Prime with 3/4 cup DME and four tablespoons of honey.
