  • 10.5 lbs English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • .25 lbs British Crystal 55°L

    British Crystal 55°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, adds mouthfeel and head retention. For pale or amber ales.

  • .25 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • .25 lbs English Black Roast

    English Black Roast

    Adds a heavy roast flavor and dark color.

  • .5 oz Target - 8.8 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Target

    Used for its robust bittering ability in British ales and lagers. Aroma is quite intense.

  • .5 oz East Kent Goldings - 6.6 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • White Labs WLP005 British Ale

    White Labs WLP005 British Ale

    This yeast is a little more attenuative than WLP002. Like most English strains, this yeast produces malty beers. Excellent for all English style ales including bitter, pale ale, porter, and brown ale.

Notes

Mash at 150f for 90 mins. Add bittering hops for full 90 min boil. Add flavoring hops & Irish Moss at 15 mins. Add .75 cups corn sugar at bottleing.
