Northern Brewer
Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.

- 150 g DME for priming OG = 1.060 target FG = 1.014 target - 10.5 l water @58°C [136°F] for mash in – hold @53°C [127°F] for 30 min - Add 5.2 l water t- raise t- 65.5°C [150°F] – hold for 60 min - Lauter at 75°C [167°F] - Sparge with 19 l @ 77°C [171°F]
