This famous German yeast is a strain used in the production of traditional, authentic wheat beers. It produces the banana and clove nose traditionally associated with German wheat beers and leaves the desired cloudy look of traditional German wheat beers.

OG 1.050 FG 1.010 UPDATE: Much too dark for style. I think I would like it more if it were fermented with a different yeast, but then it wouldn't have the style characteristic tastes and aromas. Oh well, I'm still drinking great beer! 1st place winner December 2002 at local homebrew club monthly competition.
